What American accent do you have? Midland "Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest". The default American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland. |
I'm not quite sure where I got it. I learned to speak in Michigan, but my father is from New Jersey and my mother Mississippi. I guess they kind of canceled out and I became rather accentless.
